Crochet boots

Crocheting boots was difficult but intersting project. As an example I used old boots that I ripped into parts and used that pieces as a pattern. My client (who odered theese boots) choosed a very nice crochet pattern.

ometimes I make some lace for some project, but never use it. Because when I'm finished with it, it doesn't  fit anymore. The gray one I made for a scarf, but it turned out to be longer then needed. The white one I made to decorate a blouse but in the lace the color was different from expected one. So now those beautiful laces are waiting for another thing to fit.

Another crochet collar to show. I made it recently, want it look a bit wintage and the yarn of light beige suit that well.

crochet I Phone case

Recently I showed beginning of a wok on my IPhone case. Wanted to try a bobble stitch and that was easy with youtube. I like this case have a simple form but interesting texture thanks to that stitch.

Couldn't resist that fashion on crochet stones and made some. I liked the process and the result. They looks so good at home. I actually like stones as they are, but crochet makes them more cute.

What to do at the beach?

To do some painting, crochet. To try finally that popular crochet stones.

Again my mother's handmade. She does lot's of crochet for the home: pillows, table clothes, and so on. Those crochet things make my parents home very cozy.

Mostly in my crochet I use natural colors such as gray, beige and so on. And once I wanted to try black yarn. This color gives totally different look to the things. More formal perhaps. And it's quite difficult to take good pictures of black crochet, it looks dull and flat.

rose brooch

Hello friends! It’s been a while since I wrote last time. To tell the truth I found it hard to have two blogs to write to, but I don’t want to quit this one. So soon you’ll have a pile of posts here. And if you want to follow my news you can at least have a look at pictures in my Russian blog. I also post to my Facebook page, and have Flickr and Tumblr accounts only to show my creations.

Not a long time ago I found that brooch is quite a nice piece of jewelry and very convenient for decorating a coat or jacket or other outer clothing. For that I made some crochet roses. Leaved one for myself (it goes so good for my gray coats) presented rest as gifts.

Crochet snowflakes

Hello, friends!
Hope your holidays were great. As for me, I'm back to Russia for a couple of weeks and here we have Christmas on 7th of January, so holidays just ended. And today is the last chance to show my Xmas decor - a little crochet garland. I love crochet snowflakes and dreamed to make them for a long time, the process seemed to be quite appealing.

What I love about crochet process  is "playing" with finished and unfinished  things.  Love to compose them with my other stuff or to put them into patterns (the one you can see in my previous post).

crochet necklaces

Hello friends! today I want to share with you the couple of my recent necklaces. Wanted to try new colors this time - pink and grey. Realized I love peach pink with beige color so much. It gives the necklace such a tender look. Grey one also with beige and wooden beads make altogether a nature look, I think it's going to fit to clothes made of linen or wool.  To make these necklaces I used 100% mercerized cotton, wooden and plastic beads, fake pearls.

My previous post was about a rose crochet necklace I made. When I showed it in a Russian livejournal society ru_knitting, some people asked a question about how exactly I had made those roses.  Though I haven’t invented that scheme, I made my version “How to crochet a rose”

My recently made crochet necklace. I did this kind of necklace before and gave it as a gift to my friend. But I think the design of necklace is quite successful, so I wanted to repeat it. 100% mercerized cotton, pink color that I really love, and gorgeous green. I really enjoyed making it.

At my mother's home I found a perfect place for me to style the things I make. Lots of linen, nice colors, lovely wicker basket. And here is the result.

This crochet scarf I made for my friend. Design in my head was a bit different, but yarn changed a lot, as usual for me. It is 100% mercerized cotton. I also made a little rose brooch to fix the scarf on desirable length.
