Crochet brooches

Hello, firends!
Again I dissapeared from this blog for a months. Sorry I didn't answer your comments right in time. When you have full time job and evening job too, and fitness, and family, you dont' have lot of time for handmade. And everithing I do now takes time. These brooches supposed to be Christmas presents but I presented them only in spring (shame on me!) and could edit pics only today. So process is so slow.

crochet I Phone case

Recently I showed beginning of a wok on my IPhone case. Wanted to try a bobble stitch and that was easy with youtube. I like this case have a simple form but interesting texture thanks to that stitch.

bracelet redo

Another my "redo project". I have a beautiful bracelet from China, these are the real shells on real wood. But wearing this bracelet was quite a trouble. It's too big to wear in beneath outer clothing. During working on my PC at an office it clattered upon the type board. So I had a rare occasions to wear this bracelet. Finally I decided to make a necklace of it, at least necklaces are my favorite accessories and I wear them often. And as you can see I put those "beads" on a string connected to a chain, also added some metal beads. I think at was simple and fast way to redo my bracelet.

necklace redo

Ok, perhaps that's not exactly "redo", I just had an old necklace I never worn but liked for it's gold glitter. Also long time ago I bought seed beads and charms and didn't know in which project use them. And now, everything found it's own place and I have a nice little necklace.

postcards

I love paper so much and cannot stand to buy some nice pieces though don’t use them. But recently had a good chance to make postcards for one of spring holydays. So I put together rise paper I bought in China, paper for scrapbooking, crepe paper I used for making flowers and plain white sheets of office paper. And voila, I have two postcards with flowers. Gray one was made according this tutorial.

crochet necklaces

Hello friends! today I want to share with you the couple of my recent necklaces. Wanted to try new colors this time - pink and grey. Realized I love peach pink with beige color so much. It gives the necklace such a tender look. Grey one also with beige and wooden beads make altogether a nature look, I think it's going to fit to clothes made of linen or wool. To make these necklaces I used 100% mercerized cotton, wooden and plastic beads, fake pearls.

crochet roses

My recently made crochet necklace. I did this kind of necklace before and gave it as a gift to my friend. But I think the design of necklace is quite successful, so I wanted to repeat it. 100% mercerized cotton, pink color that I really love, and gorgeous green. I really enjoyed making it.

roses

Roses are very beautiful flowers, that's obvious. But when I see them they beauty amaze me again and again, though I'm not such a fun of them. Recently we've been to a very nice place with a small rose garden. Can you imagine the smell of dozens of rose bushes?

process

Today I made some photos of my crochet process details.

I'm really in love with natural colors of yarn and shades of pink. Keep them in net bag that I made myself, hooks keep in Mongolian leather case for chopsticks. Also made a little yarn catalog. I think it can be helpful in finding matching colors of new yarn.
